OUR COACHES

Coach Vernon Whittington, comes with years of coaching experience from the prep to pro levels. The Co-founder of C.A.M (Colorado Athletic Ministries) for seven years as sports director and skills coach to both girls and boys basketball teams at the club level. Coach Whittington has also coached at the high school level at Aurora Christian high school for three years, Denver West high school for six years, Denver South high for three years and is now in his first season as head coach at Arvada Senior High.. At the college level Coach Whittington was the top assistant coach at (JWU) Johnson & Wales University Denver campus for two seasons and was named head coach of the Women’s program at Cole College Denver. Coach Whittington has worked with athletes of all levels as a skills coach with the Denver Nuggets, USA Basketball and Grind Time Hoops. Coach Whittington is a graduate of Denver East high school and attended the University of Maryland where he played football and basketball. He is currently finishing up his degree at the (USSA) United States Sports Academy.
